Accessing the CRM Computational Cluster

On the CRM, we have a shared computational cluster to allow researchers to perform high-performance computing (HPC) tasks, simulations, and large-scale data processing.

1. Requesting Access

Investigators who wish to use the cluster must submit an access request. Follow these steps:

• Go to the Contact page.
• Fill out the form with your details.
• Select **"Cluster Connection Request"** as the request type.
• Describe your intended use of the cluster, including any specific resources or software needed.
• Submit the form. The IT team will review your request and grant access if approved.

2. Connecting to the Cluster

Once your request is approved, you will receive login credentials and connection details.

To connect, use the following SSH command:

$ ssh your_username@cluster.public.name.cat

3. Available Resources

The cluster provides access to:

• High-performance computing nodes
• Pre-installed scientific software
• Batch job scheduling with SLURM
• Data storage for research projects
