Connecting to CRM Printers

Follow this guide to connect to the public printers in CRM, available at:

Windows Setup

Follow these steps to add a printer on Windows:

  1. Open the **Control Panel** and go to **Devices and Printers**.
  2. Click **Add a printer**.
  3. Click **The printer that I want isn't listed**.
  4. Select **Add a printer using a TCP/IP address or hostname**, then click **Next**.
  5. Enter the printer address:
    • For Printer 1: printer1.crm.cat
    • For Printer 2: printer2.crm.cat
  6. Click **Next**, and let Windows search for the printer.
  7. When prompted, choose the correct printer driver or install one manually.
  8. Click **Next**, set it as default if needed, and click **Finish**.

Linux Setup

On most Linux distributions, you can use **CUPS** to add the printer.

  1. Open the **CUPS Printer Manager** (usually accessible via the system settings).
  2. Click **Add Printer**.
  3. Choose **Network Printer** and enter the address:
    • For Printer 1: publicprinter1.crm.cat
    • For Printer 2: publicprinter2.crm.cat
  4. Click **Next** and select the appropriate printer driver.
  5. Click **Next**, adjust settings if needed, and confirm the setup.
  6. The printer should now be ready for use.
