1. What services do we offer to researchers?
CRM provides a variety of IT services for researchers, including:
- Access to high-performance computing resources.
- Secure research data storage.
- Remote connectivity through VPN.

2. Why can't I have MATLAB?
MATLAB is licensed through UAB, and only users with a valid NIU (UAB Identification) can access it. If you qualify, follow the

3. How can I request a new device?
To request new equipment:
- Contact IT support via the CRM Helpdesk.
- Provide a justification, including work type and required specifications.
- Wait for approval and follow further instructions.
4. Can I connect to Eduroam?
Yes, to connect to Eduroam:
- Search for the "Eduroam" network on your device.
- Log in using your UAB email and password.
5. Can I connect to my device inside CRM?
Remote access to CRM systems is restricted for security reasons. However, VPN access may be granted upon request.

6. How can I use the printers?
CRM has shared printers available. To install a printer:
- Identify the correct printer.
- Download the printer drivers.
- Follow the Printer Setup Guide.
7. How can I request the deletion or modification of my data?
If you wish to delete or modify your personal data:
- Send an email to dpo@crm.cat.
- Provide a reason and necessary details.
- Wait for confirmation from IT or administration.
8. What security measures are in place to protect research data?
CRM follows strict cybersecurity protocols, including:
- Safe Data storage.
- Firewall and network monitoring.
- Restricted access to internal systems.
- Regular data backups.
- Two-factor authentication (2FA) for critical systems.
